
LNESC Upward Bound serves students in grades 9th-12th, at Grossmont High School. The students that qualify are provided with the following free services:

After school tutoring on campus ( Math, Science, History, Spanish)

Educational workshops ( Study tips, financial Aid, Scholarship information)

If your child is a Grossmont High School student, you can email Edith Belman (Upward Bound Program, Administrative Assistant) at UBGrossmont@GMAIL.com to receive a fillable online application. Please, complete the student application along with the parent verification form and a copy of the student’s current transcript. Parent Verification form must be completed and signed digitally by parent/guardian. Application Process:

1. Submit a completed online application.
2. After completing and submitting application, please email student’s current 9th – 12th transcript (including student’s name on transcript) to UBGrossmont@GMAIL.com. Transcripts can be accessed through Infinite campus. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Please, allow up to two weeks for the student’s application to be reviewed by Upward Bound Staff. If additional information is needed, you will be contacted by Upward Bound Staff.
3. If the student is eligible for the program based on the information submitted, they will be contacted for a follow up interview via zoom in which the parent and student will need to attend.
